AI isn’t magic. It’s craft.

AI tools, websites and IT systems for small businesses, engineered properly and explained plainly.

Every part of a typewriter, taken apart and laid out in neat rows on a sheet of paper

Most technology projects don’t fail because the tools are wrong. They fail because nobody took the time to understand the business first.

So I take the problem apart before building anything, and only put back what earns its place.

What I build

AI integration

Put AI to work where it saves real hours: answering customer questions, reading documents, drafting replies and finding what’s in your data. I connect models to the systems you already use and keep a person in charge.

  • Assistants and chatbots grounded in your own content
  • Document, receipt and invoice processing
  • Automations between the tools you already pay for
  • Straight advice on when AI is not the answer

Web and apps

Fast, accessible websites and business applications that are pleasant to use and easy to change, from a focused marketing site to an online store or the internal tool your staff open every morning.

  • Websites and online stores
  • Custom business applications built around how you work
  • Payments, sign-in and instant notifications
  • Speed and accessibility improvements

IT infrastructure

The quiet foundations: servers, security, backups and the pipelines that ship your software. Set up carefully, written down, and watched so that small problems stay small.

  • Cloud and VPS setup
  • Hardening with SSH keys, firewalls and TLS
  • Backups, monitoring and recovery plans
  • Reliable deployment pipelines

How a project runs

  1. Listen

A short call about the problem, the people involved and what a good result looks like. No jargon and no obligation.

  2. Plan

A written scope with options, trade-offs and a clear estimate, so you know exactly what you’re agreeing to.

  3. Build

Work in small, visible steps you can try as it comes together. Changes are discussed, never sprung on you.

  4. Look after

Handover, plain-English documentation and ongoing care for as long as it’s useful to you.

The small parts that hold everything together

When you work with aihelps, you work with me directly. The person who scopes the job is the person who writes the code, sets up the server and answers your messages.

Like any craft, it comes down to practice and care: understanding how your business actually runs, choosing the simplest thing that will hold up, and leaving you with something you can rely on and understand.

Start a project
How much does a project cost?

It depends on the scope, so I quote after a short conversation about what you need. You’ll have a written estimate before any work starts, and small, well-defined jobs are welcome.

How long does it take?

Timelines depend on scope. Larger projects are split into stages so you see working results early, and every estimate includes a timeline you can plan around.

Do you take on small jobs?

Yes. Fixing a slow website, securing a server or automating one tedious task are all good places to start.

What happens after launch?

You get documentation and access to everything you paid for. Ongoing maintenance, monitoring and improvements are there if you want them.

Do you work with businesses outside Sydney?

Yes. Most of the work happens remotely, with calls and regular progress updates, so distance isn’t a barrier.

Tell me what’s slowing you down

A few sentences is plenty. I read every message personally and reply by email. If you’d rather talk first, mention a good time to call.
